South Carolina Commission on Higher Education "Know2" Project

The Riley Center has worked with the CHE to implement a statewide effort to change attitudes towards higher education. Through this project countywide assessments have been conducted in Cherokee and Marlboro counties.  In addition, the Center has provided research papers, the development of neighborhood training and organized a statewide conference with national experts.

Lowcountry Graduate Center Educational Assessment

The Riley has worked with the LGC on multiple projects assessing the educational needs of the Lowcountry and assisting in determing the best way to address these needs.  Based on Riley Center research new degrees have been created and implemented and program structures have been determined.

Charleston Promise Neighborhood

The Riley Center has worked with CPN since its inception providing grant writing support, program evaluation, planning and assessment assistance and other expertise.

The University Center of Greenville Higher Education Assessment 

Similar to the LGC, the UCG utilized the Riley Center to assess higher education needs in the upstate and determine how the Center should address the needs of employers and the community.

Charleston County School District

The Riley Center conducted a countywide survey to determine what type of tax would be most acceptable to voters in order to fund the School District’s capital plan.  The Center made a recommendation that the School District accepted and successfully implemented through a ballot referendum.
